LAIR O’THE BEAR P1 T1(south)
From C-470, exit at Morrison and travel west on Colorado 74 through
Morrison and Idledale for approximately six miles to the park
entrance on your left.
MILLER ROCK P2 T1(Mountains)
From Nederland, drive north on Colorado 72 past Ward to County Road
94, turning right at the Glacier View Guest Ranch sign. Follow the
road about 1.5 miles and turn left at the Ceran St Vrain trailhead
sign to the parking area.

T2
RAMPART RESERVOIR P2 T2(south)
From Denver, take I-25 south to exit 141 in Colorado Springs. Take
US 24 west to Woodland Park (18 miles). Once you reach Woodland Park,
turn right on Baldwin Road at the "Welcome to Woodland Park" sign
just before the McDondalds. Baldwin Road turns into Rampart Reservoir
Road. Continue on Rampart Reservoir road 2.9 miles and turn right
(follow signs). You will take another right turn about 1.5 miles onto
a dirt road. About 2.3 miles on your left will be a trail head,
Rainbow Gulch. Park here and take this trail approximately two miles
up to Rampart Reservoir loop. The loop is typically ridden clockwise.
By parking at Rainbow Gulch and riding to the reservoir you add the
additional miles and avoid the parking fees. Allow about 2 hours
driving time from south Denver.
WAPITI BAPTISTE TRAIL P4 T2(mountains)
From Nederland, drive north on CO 72 for 17.5 miles to the Peaceful
Valley trailhead. Turn left at the forest access sign and park
immediately.
WATERTON CANYON P3 T2(south)
From C-470, exit at Wadsworth Blvd and head south for 4.1 miles on
Colorado 121. Turn left at the Waterton Canyon sign then another left
into the parking lot.
MOUNT FALCON PARK P4 T2(south)
On US 285, travel west from Denver and exit on Colorado 8. Travel
north toward Morrison for 1.3 miles and turn left on Forest Avenue.
Follow the signs to the trailhead.
WHITE RANCH P4 T2(central)
From the intersection of US 6 and Colorado 93 in Golden, take
Colorado 93 north for 1.6 miles and turn left on West 56th Ave, just
north of Golden Gate Canyon Road. Follow this road a short distance
until it ends, turn right and proceed into White Ranch parking lot.
The trailhead is on the north end.
BUCK GULCH TRAIL (BUFFALO CREEK) P2 T2(mountains)
On US 285, drive to Pine Junction and turn left on Jefferson County
126 for 5.7 miles to Pine Valley Ranch. Turn right at the park
entrance sign and follow signs to the parking lot
ELK MEADOW/BERGEN PEAK P4 T2(mountains)
Drive west on I-70 to the Evergreen Pkwy exit (Colorado 74) and
travel through Bergen Park to Elk Meadow Park. Pass the first Open
Space parking area on CO 74 and turn right on Stagecoach Blvd. Follow
the signs to the parking area.
ALDERFER/THREE SISTERS P1 T2(mountains)
Drive west on I-70 to the El Rancho exit (252). Continue south on
Colorado 74 to Evergreen. Turn right in downtown Evergreen on
Colorado 73 and drive a short distance to Buffalo Park Road. Turn
right at the signal and follow the signs for 1.3 miles to the east
parking lot.
APEX PARK P2 T2(Central)
On I-70, travel west from Denver and exit on US40 at the Morrison
exit. Travel north for a little over a mile to the Heritage Square
entrance (on left). Turn right towards Golden and then immediately
left into the Apex Park East Access. The trailhead is located at the
north end of the lot.
BEAR CREEK TRAIL P2 T2(South)
Drive south on U.S. 85 (Santa Fe Drive) to Sedalia and turn right on
Colorado Highway 67. Follow it about 10 miles to Rampart Range Road.
Turn left on Rampart Range Road and immediately park on the right.
DEER CREEK CANYON P3 T2(South)
From C-470, exit at Wadsworth Blvd and head south to Deer Creek
Canyon Road and turn right. Follow this road through the hogback to
Cougar Road and turn left. Follow the signs to the parking lot.
GREEN MOUNTAIN PARK P2 T2(central)
From C-470, exit Morrison and travel a short distance west, turning
right on South Rooney Road towards the speedway. Pass under C-470 to
W Jewell Ave and turn right, to Alameda Pkwy. Turn left on Alameda
Pkwy and travel 0.4 miles to a small trailhead parking area on the left.
WALKER-RANCH/MEYER P3 T2 (North)
From Golden, take Colorado 93 north to Coal Creek Canyon Road
(Colorado 72). Turn left and follow this road to Crescent Village and
turn right at the Gross Reservoir sign. Travel approximately 4.3
miles to Boulder Mountain Parks/Walker Ranch trailhead parking.

T3
CHIMNEY GULCH P2 T3(central)
On US 6, travel west from Denver towards Golden. From the 19th Street
and US 6 intersection, travel 0.6 miles on US 6 to a small parking
area on the left. Look for a windsock near the parking lot.
CAPTAIN JACK’S LOOP P3 T3
From Denver, take I-25 south to exit 141 in Colorado Springs. Drive
west on US 24 to 21st Street and turn left. 21st soon becomes Cresta
Road. Turn right when you enter the park and continue up Cheyenne
Blvd, past the lower Visitors Center. About a mile into the canyon
(North Cheyenne Canyon) is the upper Visitors Center, continue .6
miles past the VC to the junction of Gold Camp Road, High Drive (dirt
road), and Cheyenne Canyon Road. Take High Drive, which is one way.
At .9 miles you reach the top of High Drive. Park in the area on the
right side of the road. The trail begins on the left side.
BALDY PEAK LOOP(mountains)
On US 285, drive west to Bailey and turn left on Park County 68 just
as you enter town. Drive south for 5.1 miles on Park County 68/Forest
Road 560 toward Wellington Lake to Park County 70/FR 549 and head
left toward EOS Mill. At a road split, turn left, now on FR 553,
toward EOS Mill, for 0.7 miles to FR 554, which joins on the right
(the sign is hard to see). Turn right into FR 554 and park at the
first turnout on the right.
Heil Ranch P3 T3 (north)
From Golden, head northeast on 10th street toward Arapahoe St. Turn
left at Washington Ave. Turn right at CO-93. Continue on Broadway
St./CO-7. Continue to follow CO-7. Turn left at Lefthand Canyon Dr.
Turn right at Geer Canyon Dr.
Hall Ranch P3 T3 (north)
Take route 36 from Boulder into downtown Lyons. At the Route 7 split,
turn left and travel a little over a mile.

MATTHEWS/WINTER P3 T4(Central)
On I-70, travel west from Denver and exit at the Morrison/Golden
interchange (Colorado 26). Travel south a short distance, turning
right into the Matthews/Winter parking lot.
GOLDENGATE CANYON P3 T4(Central)
From U.S. Highway 6 in Golden, take Colorado Highway 93 north for
1.4 miles and turn left on Golden Gate Canyon Road. Drive up the
canyon for 12.3 miles to the Visitor Center, where you can get a park
pass. Turn right on Gilpin 57 (Ralston Creek Road) and follow it
about 2 miles to the Bridge Creek trailhead parking area.

Elk Meadow
Key
T1 = Easy technical ride. Flat, moderate single track or trails.
T2 = Moderate technical ride. Single track, some bumps, maybe a sharp
turn or two.
T3 = Very technical, single track, ruts, rocks and obstacles. Might
fall off bike.
T4 = Extremely technical (tight, difficult single track, large
obstacles, ruts, logs, rocks. Broken bones possible.
Physical and technical rating is a matter of opinion and depends
highly on route selection. Riders reserve the right to modify the
route selection due to rider attendance, skill levels, weather
conditions and other riders whining.
